An update over the current Vivo V9, the Pro version has been launched with a bezel-less notched display, Snapdragon 660 processor and a rear dual-camera. Launched at Rs 19,990, Vivo V9 Pro will be available at a discounted price of Rs 17,990 at the upcoming Amazon Great India Festival.

In line with the current Xiaomi bestseller Mi A2, both the smartphones come with a set of more and less similar features.

Vivo V9 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Full View Display 2.0. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels in an 19:9 aspect ratio with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. Mi A2 has a 5.99-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display.

Vivo V9 Pro has a higher screen space with thinner bezels and a little chin down below, while Mi A2 has bigger bezels in a widescreen display.

Both the devices come with Snapdragon 660 processor with upto 6GB of RAM. Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with 4GB of RAM, while Vivo V9 Pro has 6GB of RAM. Both the smartphones will be to handle multitasking easily, even in heavy usage conditions.

Vivo V9 Pro will be available online via Amazon India costing Rs 17,990 during Great Indian Festival. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi A2 is priced at Rs 16,999, available via Amazon India. Both the smartphones come in a single 64GB storage option.

The larger teardrop notched display offers more screen space, higher RAM to improve multtiamulti and a slihslig bigger battery is a plus for Vivo V9 Pro. While Xiaomi Mi A2 has an advantage of the better camera and bloat-free interface. Android One on Mi A2 offers a better user experience compared to the customised UI on Vivo V9 Pro.

Vivo V9 Pro is obviously a great smartphone at its price. If you are looking for a good smartphone at around Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000 which has an awesome display packing a sleek performance and cameras, you should pay an Rs 1,000 extra for V9 Pro.

But, if user experience and cameras are your major concern, Xiaomi Mi A2 should be your choice. The smartphone offers an optimal performance in all the departments.
