Asus ZenFone 4 Series Launched In India! Everything You Need To Know

Asus has launched their latest Asus ZenFone 4 Series smartphones in India today at a launch event in New Delhi. The latest ZenFone series has five models;

1. ZenFone 4 Selfie
2. ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro
3. ZenFone 4
4. ZenFone 4 Pro
5. ZenFone 4 Max

The Taiwanese company has been hinting at selfie focused smartphones with Asus ZenFone 4 series with their #DitchTheSelfieStick social media campaign.

Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie

It sports a 5.5” IPS HD display with 2.5D curved glass coating on top. The smartphone will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with Adreno 505 GPU paired with 4GB RAM. It has 64GB of onboard storage which is expandable up to 2TB.

It runs Android 7.0 with ZenUI 4.0 on top. It comes with a dual selfie camera (20MP + 8MP). The 20MP sensor will have a f/2.0 aperture with softlight LED flash, and the 8MP sensor will have a 120 degree wide angle lens. On back it has a 16MP camera with an 80 degree depth of field of view, phase detection autofocus and LED flash.

Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro

It sports 5.5” Full HD AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass on top. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with ZenUI 4.0 OS on top. It will get powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM with 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded further up to 2TB.

It will get a 24MP dual ‘Duopixel’ front camera (12MP + 12MP) which will have an f/1.8 aperture with softlight LED flash. The second front camera will have 120 degree wide-angle sensor. The rear camera has a 16MP camera which has an 80 degree field of view and with real-tone LED flash.

Asus ZenFone 4

The ZenFone 4 comes with a 5.5” Full HD Super IPS+ display with a curved Corning Gorilla 2.5D glass on both front and back. It will be available in two variants – one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and another one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630. Both are 64 bit, Octa-core 14nm processors clubbed with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It has 64GB of onboard storage which further can be expanded up to 2TB.

ZenFone 4 packs a dual rear cameras setup – 12MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP sensor with 120 degree wide angle lens. The front has an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box with ZenUI 4.0 OS on top. It packs a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support.

ZenFone 4 Pro comes with a 5.5” full HD AMOLED display with a curved glass coating on top. The device packs Qualcomm’s present flagship chipset – Snapdragon 835 clubbed with 6GB of RAM. The device will run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box with Asus’s own ZenUI on top.

The smartphone comes with a dual rear setup at back (12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS + 16MP 50mm sensor with laser/phase detection autofocus and OIS). It has an 8MP camera up front with f/1.9 aperture, and packs a 3600mAh battery.

It sports a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup at the back with an 8MP camera at front. It runs Android Nougat out of the box with ZenUI on top. The highlight feature is however the big 5000mAh battery, which can even charge other devices by acting as a power bank.
