The benefits of these plans differ from each circle, and so do the prices. E.g. The 258 Plan costs Rs. 258/- for Gujarat circle users, but costs Rs. 259/- for users in Punjab circle. Similarly, the 378 Plan costs Rs. 378/- and Rs. 379/- respectively. While the 548 Plan gives 5GB data per day to Gujarat users, it offers only 4GB data per day to Punjab users. However, the validity of all plans is consistent across all circles.
How long will they be available?
All these plans are promotional plans, which means they will available and valid for only 90 days from the date of launch. These plans will be either modified or will be dropped completely in favour of some new plans.
How do they stack up against other plans?
BSNL has a Rs. 444/- ‘Chaukka Plan’ live in all its circles. It is a regular plan which offers 4GB data per day for 90 days. The Rs. 666/- ‘Sixer Plan’ offers 2GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls. It has a validity of 60 days. The new 548 Plan is positioned between these two plans in terms of price and what it offers. The recently revised BSNL Triple Ace Plan costs Rs. 333/- and offers 3GB data per day for 56 days.
To sum up, BSNL has a plan for almost all types of usage scenarios. The data heavy plans are a boon for people who love to consume media all day long. The unlimited calling plans are for those who are on calls all the time. Plans are revised all the time. Currently these three new plans from BSNL are the best in terms of a calling and data volumes they offer.
Feeling like HOAX lol. I am not here to underestimate neither degrade BSNL but frankly i know the speed of this network. Some time it shows hell to customers. I think its based on tower location but still when i was using 3G full signal(near to tower) of BSNL i could not even able to use 100MB because of its ultimate low speed. Now its turn of 4G. We can easily imagine how come the scenario would be. Its better they must concentrate on the quality of the service that they are providing. Remote areas of our countries only hope was BSNL, they can easily rebuilt there relationship at those places. Now a days Jio is also concentrating on this areas. Lets hope for the best :)
