Last year when OnePlus 2 was launched, the Chinese company came up with an unique launch method to showcase their smartphone. They live streamed the launch event through virtual reality, which was a big hit and hundreds and thousands of people across the globe could experience the launch in real-time.
Now, the company is ready to unveil it’s latest flagship – OnePlus 3 – and just like OnePlus 2, the OnePlus 3 will also be launched through Virtual Reality live streaming. The company has also announced launch of Virtual Reality Headset called OnePlus Loop that they are offering free of cost (plus shipping) in US/Europe. For India, consumers can buy it through Amazon for just Re 1 (Shipping extra) via Amazon. The sale of headsets will be held on 3rd June and 7th June.

OnePlus Loop VR Headset
Although the Loop VR headset is offered for free, it looks like a sturdy high-end headset. According to the website, the headset is built out of robust materials and will provide 100% distortion free field of view. The lenses on the VR headset can be fine-tuned for perfect focus.
Loop has adjustable straps and snug inner-padding that should keep you comfortable even in usage for long hours. Interestingly, Loop VR is built in such a way that it fits comfortably over glasses, so everyone can experience Virtual reality without much of an issue.
OnePlus 3 Specifications
Officially nothing has been announced, however, according to @evleaks, who is generally well known to leak details of smartphones before they are launched, the OnePlus 3 will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen and 3000 mAh battery. It is rumoured that phone will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 820 and paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Given that OP2 already has 4GB RAM onboard, it might very well be a 6GB RAM phone.
