5 Awesome Cars That Raised the Heat At Auto Expo 2016
Auto Expo, the biennial extravaganza conducted at Delhi, returned with even more noise, more excitement and more cars this year. Hailed as Asia’s largest, and world’s second largest automotive show, Auto Expo 2016 is being conducted between 5th and 9th February at the sprawling India Expo Mart premises at Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR).
The collective power of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) ensures that Auto Expo attracts maximum crowd and exhibitors.
Spread over 73,000 square meters, this year’s auto expo attracted 65 exhibitors, who launched 70 new cars and bikes.
Auto Expo 2016 is expected to attract over 6 lakh visitors, compared to 5.6 lakh in 2014. On Sunday alone, around 1.3 lakh people thronged the venue to witness their favorite cars & bikes, live in front of them.

Most Expensive Car – Mercedes-Maybach S600
Somewhere priced at Rs 8-12 crore, the sizzling Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard was the most expensive car displayed at Auto Expo 2016.
Most Secured Car – Audi A8 L

Audi’s A8 L, priced at Rs 9.15 crore was hailed as the most secured car of the expo. Equipped with class VR 9 ballistic protection standard, A8 L attracted quite a few eye balls.
Car Which Created Most Buzz – Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza was easily the most talked about car during the expo. Priced between Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, Vitara Breeza has been designed & developed in-house by Maruti Suzuki’s executive director of engineering, C V Raman.
Going by the looks of it, which can be categorized under sub-compact SUV, it can give some tough competition to Ford Ecosport and Mahindra’ TUV300.
Most Powerful Car – Nissan’s GT-R

Nissan’s GT-R, the sports car which is also lovingly called as ‘Godzilla’ by auto lovers can be described as the most powerful car within the sports niche. With 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, which bursts out 542bhp at 6,400 rpm and 632 Nm of torque in the range of 3,200-5,800 rpm has two sleek doors and 4-wheel drive system.
It would be launched in September, 2016, and would be priced around Rs 2 crore.
Most Anticipated Car – Ford Mustang

All hands down, it was the muscular, scintillating Ford Mustang, which has been redesigned to be launched in India.
Priced between Rs 75-80 lakh, Mustang packs a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox which will power 435 hp and 542 Nm to the rear wheels.
