Xbox One Priced Rs 39990 Will Be Available In India From Sept 23
Microsoft has officially announced the unveiling of Xbox One gaming console in India: It would be priced Rs 39,990+ and would be available from September 23, 2014.
This announcement was made during the “Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014”, commonly known as E3 2014 which is currently running at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA. Starting today, this global event will conclude on June 12, 2014. Some of the biggest names in the gaming and entertainment industry such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo etc have taken part in this event.
We had earlier reported that Xbox One will be launched in September.
To lure hardcore gamers from India, Microsoft has ensured to bring enough fire play within their newest gaming console. As per the reports coming in, Xbox One would be loaded with the popular science fiction gaming series Halo: The Master Chief Collection as well as other blockbusters such as Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 and Dance Central Spotlight.
Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division, said during the event: “We are committed to delivering amazing experiences that will help define this generation of games and delight the millions of passionate Xbox fans around the world.”
Xbox One, sales of which will begin from September 23, will include:
- Xbox One Console
- Xbox One Wireless Controller
- 14 day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members
- 500 GB hard drive
- Blu-Ray player
- Built in Wi-Fi
There is another version of Xbox One, which is connected with Kinect and has been priced at Rs 45,990. This version will have several additional features as well such as:
- Gesture Control mechanism
- Bio-metric sign-in
- Controller Pairing
- Skype Video Calls
- Instant Personalization
- Instant scanning of QR codes
- Exclusive games which would only run with Kinect support such as: ‘Kinect Sports Rival’ ; ‘Dead Rising 3,’ and ‘Project Spark’
Xbox One gaming console is making waves across the gaming world with some of the cutting edge technology and features embedded into it. Some of the other unique features which have been introduced in Xbox One include:
- Game DVR/Upload, which enables gamers to capture and record their best gaming moments
- Upload Studio, which enables gamers to edit and share clips with other gamers
- Specially designed Skype user-interface for gamers
- TV on Xbox Live allows users to watch TV using cable connection or set-up box
Microsoft emphasized repeatedly that how Xbox gaming consoles have evolved from being just a game playing tool to become a “multipurpose entertainment center” with access to films, television, music, internet and more.
Sony, with their extremely successful Play Station 4 is also impressing game lovers. Their PS 4 series has already sold more units compared to Xbox series, and they have also introduced lots of exclusive games to attract new buyers.
