Arun Yadav wins Doodle 4 Google India 2012 contest
Arun Kumar Yadav has become a mini-celebrity today. His Doodle has been featured on Google Homepage on Children’s day (today) and millions have seen it. According to estimates 3 billion searches are made on Google every day (around 35k searches per second). Imagine how many people have seen the Doodle.

The theme for this year’s Doodle 4 Google contest was “Unity in Diversity”. The Doodle created by Arun – India : A prism of multiplicity – beautifully represents the theme showcasing different cultures, sports, traditions, handicrafts all merged with Google Logo. Arun is a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Chandigarh
The overall National winner for Doodle 4 Google contest was decided by Google’s original doodler, Dennis Hwang and other special Celebrity Judges. While the category winners were decided by online public voting. Here are the category winners:
