I guess many of you may know the answer. Yes, it is Lakshmi Mittal, 56 year old mercurial steel Tycoon, President and CEO of Arcelor-Mittal, the world’s largest steel producer.
His wealth currently stands at 19.250 billion pounds (nearly $39 Billion), which is 60 times that of Queen Elizabeth, who is estimated to have a fortune of close to 320 million pounds.

According to The Sunday Times Rich List 2007, Mittal saw his wealth shoot up from 14.881 billion pounds in 2006 to 19.250 billion pounds this year, an increase of staggering 4.369 billion pounds in one year. This is the 3rd year in row that he has topped the list by huge margins.
Two other notable Indians in the list are Chand brothers at 6.2 billion pounds, up from 3.6 billion last year, as jump of nearly 75% and Sri Swaraj Paul saw a rise of 50% to 1.5 billion pounds.
