The new feature is a button called, “Remix.”

YouTube Introduces Remix Feature in Shorts
It is clear that YouTube is making large investments in the Shorts feature.
The platform wants to increase its users’ enjoyment and inventiveness. The ability to remix music videos has increased the creative options available to those who create short films. To help Shorts creators, the platform is introducing a number of new tools and features.
YouTube creators can begin using the Remix feature on February 15.
Users can use the original audio, work with the artist, respond to the video, or snip a particular scene by clicking the Remix button.
You can find it next to the Share button on the page for the music video.
Remix Feature: How To Use?
The Remix feature comes with four creative options, Sound, Collab, Green Screen, and Cut.
Sound: You can use the music video’s audio in your own Short by selecting this option. You can use the sound to dance, lip-synch, or do anything else you want.
Collab: Using this option, you can combine the music video and create a split-screen Short. Every screen can have its size and position altered, and a variety of layout options are available.
Using the “Green Screen” option, you can make your short film’s background the music video. You can record your own response to the video or even make a fake appearance.
Cut: Using this option, you can add a five-second snippet from the music video to your Short. The video can be played repeatedly or combined with other videos.
When creators on YouTube watch music videos, they will see the Remix option. Users can now remix any music video, but previously, only Shorts had comparable remixing options.
YouTube has been experimenting with vertical live streams so that creators of Shorts can get paid. It is possible to make money from Super Chat memberships and donations through vertical live streaming.
