Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) ramps up its fresher recruitment efforts, hiring over 10,000 freshers from leading engineering colleges in its latest drive. The company aims to fuel its workforce as it anticipates a demand resurgence in the current fiscal year.
Ramping Up Hiring Amid Optimism
TCS’s latest recruitment drive marks a significant uptick in its fresher hiring strategy, with the company aiming to bolster its talent pool amidst optimistic projections for demand recovery in the upcoming financial year.
The hiring spree comes after TCS announced last month that it had initiated fresher recruitment through the National Qualifier Test (NQT), with the application deadline set for April 10.
Diverse Opportunities and College Reactions
TCS’s hiring spree encompasses three distinct categories: Ninja, Digital, and Prime, offering varying annual packages ranging from ₹3.36 lakh to ₹9-11.5 lakh. According to reports, colleges have responded positively to TCS’s hiring initiative, with expectations of substantial placements for students across different profiles.
V Samuel Rajkumar from Vellore Institute of Technology expressed optimism, emphasizing that the move presents promising prospects for students amidst the current scenario. Meanwhile, S Vaidhyasubramaniam, vice-chancellor of SASTRA University, highlighted the substantial number of offer letters received by students at their institution.
