Samsung has officially released the stable One UI 7.0 update in India, just days after its debut in South Korea. The update, based on Android 15, is now live for Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 devices. The rollout also includes the April 2025 security patch.

The update has already reached devices in select Middle Eastern markets like the UAE and Turkey, and is expected to arrive in North America and other regions soon. Older flagship models and mid-range Galaxy phones will follow in the coming weeks, with entry-level devices scheduled to get the update in the next couple of months.
What’s New in One UI 7.0?
One UI 7.0 marks a significant redesign in Samsung’s custom Android skin. Key highlights include:
- New notification and Quick Panel pages, now separated for better usability
- Customizable Quick Panel, with integrated volume slider
- Revamped app icons and improved Samsung stock apps
- Updated camera app optimized for one-handed use
- Galaxy AI features embedded across the OS
The update also introduces new widget styles, enhanced lock screen customization, and smoother animations throughout the UI. A new charging animation and battery icon have been added, along with tools for battery health protection.
Another standout addition is the Now Bar — a new lock screen feature showing live and ongoing activities like timers, music playback, sports scores, map navigation, and workouts.
