Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan received total remuneration of ₹28.1 crore during FY26, according to the company’s latest annual report. His compensation increased by 6.3% compared to the previous financial year.

The report stated that Krithivasan’s pay was 332.8 times the median salary of TCS employees. TCS remains India’s largest IT services company by market capitalization and workforce size.
Salary Structure And Compensation Details
According to the annual report, Krithivasan’s compensation package included a base salary of ₹1.67 crore, benefits and allowances worth ₹1.43 crore, and ₹25 crore in commission payments.
The CEO had earned ₹26.52 crore in FY25, indicating a year-on-year increase of more than ₹1.5 crore.
Employee Salary Comparison
TCS disclosed that the median remuneration of employees increased by 5.1% during FY26. The company reported a total workforce of 5,84,519 employees at the end of the financial year.
Junior and mid-level employees in India reportedly received salary hikes ranging between 4.5% and 7%, while top performers received higher increments in some cases. Employees outside India received salary revisions between 1.5% and 6%.
Other Executive Compensation
The annual report also revealed compensation details of other senior executives at the company. TCS COO Aarthi Subramanian earned ₹18.33 crore during FY26.
Meanwhile, Tata Group and TCS Chairman N Chandrasekaran did not take any commission from the company and received only sitting fees of ₹4.2 lakh during the fiscal year.
TCS Focuses On AI Expansion
TCS has continued expanding its artificial intelligence strategy amid growing global demand for AI-led technology services. In his annual report message, Krithivasan said the company aims to become the world’s largest AI-led technology services company.
The company stated that 130 of its top 139 clients are already using TCS as their AI services partner.
