Tata Harrier EV With Range Rover-Type Features Lauched At Rs 21.49 Lak

With this launch, Tata is directly challenging segment rivals such as:

  • Mahindra XUV.e9 – ₹21.90 lakh to ₹30.50 lakh
  • BYD Atto 3 – ₹24.99 lakh to ₹33.99 lakh

Design: ICE Familiarity, EV Identity

While visually similar to its ICE sibling, the Harrier EV brings subtle yet distinct EV-specific elements. Buyers can choose from four unique color schemes:

  • Nainital Nocturne
  • Empowered Oxide
  • Pure Grey
  • Pristine White

It also features a matte-black Stealth Edition, giving it a futuristic edge.

Feature-Packed Cabin: Segment Benchmark

Tata Harrier EV is the most feature-rich car in Tata’s portfolio, including:

  • 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen (Harman with Samsung panel)
  • 10.25-inch full digital cluster
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Ventilated, powered front seats
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Panoramic sunroof & ambient lighting
  • Connected car tech & OTA updates

Battery & Range: Class-Leading Specs

Built on the Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, the Harrier EV is available with:

  • 65 kWh or 75 kWh battery packs
  • Up to 627 km ARAI-claimed range (with 75 kWh pack)
  • Fast charging: 250 km range in 15 minutes
  • Lifetime battery warranty

This positions it as a long-range SUV ideal for both city commutes and intercity travel.

Performance: Electrifying Output

The Harrier EV will be available in:

  • Single-motor FWD
  • Dual-motor AWD producing 396 bhp and 504 Nm

With this setup, it outperforms the Toyota Fortuner (204 PS/500 Nm) and can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds. It also includes multiple drive modes, adapting to terrain and driver preferences.

Final Thoughts: Tata’s Most Ambitious EV Yet

The Tata Harrier EV is more than just an electric alternative—it’s a full-fledged SUV with premium features, high performance, long range, and competitive pricing. With robust charging tech, second-gen platform, and class-leading warranty, Tata is clearly aiming to dominate the premium EV SUV segment and accelerate EV adoption in India.

Bookings start July 2.
