Fuel Station Failed To Honour Its Promise

According to the complaint, the fuel station initially admitted its mistake and assured the customer that the repair expenses would be reimbursed. Trusting this assurance, the owner got the injector repaired and the fuel tank cleaned, spending over ₹44,000. However, when the station later refused to compensate him, he approached the consumer commission seeking legal relief.

The consumer commission observed that the complainant had produced sufficient documentary evidence, including payment receipts and repair records. As the fuel station failed to appear before the commission or contest the allegations, the evidence remained unrebutted.
