PM Modi To Inaugurate Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and Line 7
On January 19, Thursday, i.e., tomorrow, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to dedicate the brand-new Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and Line 7, which originate at Gundavalli Metro.

As per reports, the Metro lines cost $12,600 crores to build.
Additionally, reports have also stated that the 18.6 km Metro line 2A connects Dahisar E and DN Nagar (yellow line), and the 16.5 km Metro line 7 connects Andheri East and Dahisar E (red line).
Lines 2A and 7 will connect Dahisar to DN Nagar in Andheri West and Dahisar East to Gundavali in Andheri East, respectively. The new Metro Line from Gundavali to Mogra is expected to be used by the Prime Minister, as confirmed by news reports.
According to reports, the metro lines will be usable for regular people starting on Friday, January 20.
National Common Mobility Card and the MUMBAI 1 Mobile App To Be Launched Tomorrow
The National Common Mobility Card and the MUMBAI 1 Mobile App will also be introduced by the prime minister (Mumbai 1). This is a single prepaid card that could be used across multiple public transport modes.
The app will make traveling easier, can be displayed on metro station entry gates, and supports digital payment to purchase tickets through UPI.
The National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai 1) will initially be used in metro corridors but can also be used on local trains and buses as well as other forms of mass transit.
The government is putting these cards to the test on the metro lines in Chennai and the Maharashtra capital’s Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar. The maximum limit on the card is Rs 2000, and it can be topped off in multiples of Rs 100.
