Today OnePlus has launched its two new devices, Nord CE 3 Lite 5G phone and Nord Buds 2 true wireless earbuds in India.
The launch event begun at 7 pm and fans could watch the live stream on YouTube. However, for those who missed to witness the live event can also know about their key specifications.
The Nord CE 3 Lite will be the first OnePlus phone to feature a 108-megapixel primary camera. The Buds 2, on the other hand, have a dual-driver setup for “some serious bass vibes.”
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G
Despite the price tag, OnePlus continues the trend to include the latest features on their smartphones despite and this newly launched model could be the most affordable OnePlus smartphone of 2023, similar to the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G of 2022.
What stands out here from the previous version is the fact that this phone shall come with 5G support, which to be honest is the norm these days.
Officially the phone maker has teased the Nord CE 3 Lite’s new Lime colour option, but users will also have the traditional black (more like grey) option.
There are two even round cutouts for the triple cameras in the rear panel. With an increased display size, this phone comes with a 6.72-inch viewing area, whose display panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling.
In order to cut costs, this model shall use a more affordable LCD panel over the premium AMOLED display. We can also expect a plastic body.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor, it shall come with an ample 5000mAh battery. There is also one update from the charging point of view on the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G as the same has been upgraded to 67W. This shall make sure that the phone is charged within an hour’s time.
Speaking of the price range, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite could start at Rs 21,000 in India. The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G was launched at Rs 19,999 last year.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2
A much affordable TWS than the previous the premium OnePlus Buds Pro 2, Nord Buds 2 shall continue to feature a flat stem design similar to the original Nord Buds.
The biggest boast and upgrade in this piece is its dual-driver setup. This is rarity as the generally only the earbuds over Rs 5,000 (sometimes even Rs 10,000) have this feature.
The benefit of this is that the users can hear clear vocals without compromising on the bass. The earbuds also support fast charging, though the box will likely skip the charging brick.
New “basswave” technology shall also be leveraged in the Nord Buds 2 in order to ensure the punchy bass levels.
