Major Rail Connectivity Planned For Noida Airport
Travelling to and from Noida International Airport is set to become significantly easier with plans to connect the airport through both the Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and the proposed Delhi–Varanasi High-Speed Rail (bullet train) corridor. The projects aim to transform the airport into a major multi-modal transport hub, reducing dependence on road travel and improving connectivity across North India.
Namo Bharat Corridor To Improve NCR Connectivity
The proposed Ghaziabad–Jewar Namo Bharat corridor will directly connect Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Noida International Airport. Once operational, passengers will be able to travel between Ghaziabad and the airport in around 40 to 50 minutes.
The corridor will feature multiple stations across the NCR and will integrate with metro and regional rail networks, enabling seamless transfers for commuters travelling from Delhi, Noida and neighbouring cities.
Bullet Train To Link Airport With Major Cities
The proposed Delhi–Varanasi High-Speed Rail corridor will also include a station at Noida International Airport. This will provide high-speed connectivity between the airport and Delhi while linking it to key cities such as Mathura, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Buxar, Ara and Patna.
The project is expected to make the airport more accessible for passengers travelling from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other parts of North and East India.
Seamless Multi-Modal Travel Experience
Authorities are developing the airport as an integrated transportation hub where travellers can easily switch between flights, rapid rail, metro services and high-speed trains. Future connectivity with the Noida Metro Aqua Line and other urban transport systems will further improve first- and last-mile travel.
The integrated transport network is expected to reduce travel time while encouraging greater use of public transport.

Improved rail connectivity is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists and pilgrims by providing faster and more reliable access to the airport.
