India’s largest automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki appears to be working on multiple new cars and SUVs for the Indian market.

This year, the brand is poised to launch the Fronx hybrid, an all-new 7-seater SUV and a new midsize SUV (Hyundai Creta rival) among others in the domestic market.

Maruti Launching Midsize SUV

In the coming three months, the car maker is planning to launch the new Midsize SUV as suggested by the Maruti dealers.

Recently, the car was captured on camera covered with heavy camouflage during its test runs in and around Gurgaon, Haryana where the company has its production facility.

This new offering will be retailed via the regular Arena dealerships, not the premium chain of NEXA showrooms unlike the Maruti’s recent new offerings.

Considering the overall length, the compact SUV is likely to be similar to the Grand Vitara.

So, there is quite the possibility that it will be sitting on the same platform as the Grand Vitara.

Although, it is rumoured to have its own identity in terms of styling and appearance.

The design cues have been borrowed from the e-Vitara, which is Maruti Suzuki’s first-ever all-electric vehicle for the Indian market as per the spy images.

Besides this, Maruti e Vitara price will finally be announced in Sep 2025 and sales will commence soon after that.

Interior, Exterior & Pricing

The key exterior elements in this compact SUV includes LED fog lamps, new bumper, slim LED headlamp units, and a sculpted bonnet.

The spy image confirms that the Midsize SUV seen riding on new Y-shaped alloy wheels in the pics.

The SUV will be offered with quite a spacious trunk which could swallow a huge amount of belongings.

So far, its interior cabin details and pics are not in public domain but they are expected to be on the same lines as the Grand Vitara and Brezza.

In addition to this, this car will be equipped with a plethora of modern and upmarket features.

These features include Powered Driver’s Seat, Electronic Parking Brake, Auto Purify with PM 2.5 Display, LED Cabin Lamps and Rear Door Sunshades.

The compact SUV will come with 6-airbags as standard safety features across the entire variant line-up.

The all new Maruti Midsize SUV is expected to  carry the same 1.5L 4-cylinder mild-hybrid powertrain setup as the Grand Vitara and Brezza.

This compact SUV will be offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options.

When it comes to the pricing, it is expected to be launched at Rs 11-16 lakh price range.
