Meta is doing some changes to its Creator Bonus program which includes changes like removal of the restriction or cap on earning potential.

Meta’s Creator Bonus Program

Till now there has been a limit of maximum payout of $30,000 per month, but now as per the Social Network giant says that “the sky’s the limit – creators can earn unlimited monthly payouts”.

Facebook Creators In India Can Now Earn Unlimited Money As Restrictions Removed

This can potentially lead to keep the top talent retention and driving more engagement on Facebook and it can help Meta to keep the content flowing.

The update will be rolled out by March to the eligible creators.

The Asian creators who till now have not been a part of the program are invited as well. As per Meta, “Select creators in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia may now be eligible for an invite, joining the US, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, India and Mexico. And stay tuned for more countries coming soon.”

Meta’s Invite-Only Monetization Program

The program still remains to be an invite only program and there has not been much shared information by Meta on the same. Meta also said that they have a certain performance threshold through which they look into potential candidates.

At the moment, there is no pathway to join the program.

Providing further monetization, Meta has also invited participants to integrate Reels ads into their clips. In order to better reward high quality content on Facebook, it is transitioning from ad-based video pay-out programs to performance-based.

Though Meta’s monetization program is following suit to YouTube and is still behind, but the integration of more reels’ incentives is clearly a hedge against TikTok, with Meta’s monetization program, for top talent at least, providing more compensation for the best creators who impact the most users in its apps
