Basically, the glasses are being designed for everyday use, by letting consumers stay connected.

They can help in capturing memories or listening to music—without needing to pull out their phone, hence helping them stay more present in the moment.

So far, Meta has not revealed the exact availability of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

Although, it is expected to debut in India in the coming weeks as per the mention in the company’s official blog post.

In this latest glasses, Meta has introduced a new Skyler frame along with lens colour options.

The company appears to have launched a new cat-eye silhouette with a subtle twist, the new Skyler in Shiny Chalky Gray paired with Transitions Sapphire lenses.

Its Skyler will be offered with a Shiny Black with G15 Green and Clear lenses.

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses New Features

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses comes with the  Live translation features which are now available globally.

This feature helps in holding real-time conversations in English, French, Italian, and Spanish without needing Wi-Fi in case the language packs are pre-downloaded.

The user will hear translations through the glasses in the meantime a transcript will appear on their phone.

The consumers have to activate this with the statement “Hey Meta, start live translation.”

Besides this, the users will be able to send/receive direct messages, photos, and make audio/video calls via Instagram on their glasses.

It will also have an existing support for WhatsApp, Messenger, and their phone’s native messaging apps.

This can simply be done by saying, “Hey Meta, send a message to Lisa on Instagram.”

In addition to this, the users can enjoy the use of Meta AI on the glasses to play music from Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Shazam globally (with English as the default language).

They can even ask for details about songs or albums they are listening to—just say, “Hey Meta, what’s the name of this song?” or “Hey Meta, when did this album come out?”

Very soon, the Meta AI on Ray-Ban Meta glasses will come with a continuous visual context.

This will help you in asking for help based on what the glasses see—like suggesting ingredient substitutes or wine pairings.

It would be enabling natural back-and-forth conversations without repeatedly saying “Hey Meta.” Just say, “Hey Meta, start live AI” to begin.
