While parading a slew of products, OnePlus seems to have gone all out including the products like the OnePlus 11, first tablet, first keyboard, and more yesterday.
It doesn’t end there as now the brand appears with another first for OnePlus as it has also teased its foldable phone at yesterday’s Cloud 11 event.
OnePlus First Foldable Phone
OnePlus has confirmed that it is working on its first foldable phone.
OnePlus’ Navnit Nakra, talked about an exciting new offering, which will arrive soon, at the end of the event.
It can be deduced that this is going to be the first foldable by the company from the slight glimpse (timestamp: 1:52:40).
So far, no proper detail has been revealed regarding the launch as of now.
But the foldable phone is confirmed to arrive in Q3 2023.
Interestingly, the company hasn’t revealed anything too substantial, but we do have some rumors to look at.
What To Expect?
Rumor mills suggested that OnePlus will launch two foldable phones, folding in both vertical and horizontal fashions.
Recently, a rumor hinted at the names being the OnePlus V Fold and the OnePlus V Flip.
Although, we don’t have any idea about what these two foldable phones will bring about.
They are expected to be similar to the Oppo Find N2 and the recent Find N2 Flip as they are expected with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Flip models.
So, expecting high refresh rate displays, top-end chipsets and cameras, and several new foldable phone-centric software optimizations is not too much.
For this, the price could be on the higher side.
But, it would be too soon to comment on how OnePlus plans to go about the foldable route.
Now, we expect more details (both official and unofficial) to arrive until the device hits the stage as the company has dropped the teaser recently.
