Apple has rolled out the third developer beta of iOS 27, continuing its testing cycle ahead of the operating system’s public release later this year. The latest beta introduces a series of refinements focused on Siri AI, user interface improvements and overall system stability as Apple prepares for the public beta launch expected later this month.

The update arrives nearly two weeks after iOS 27 Beta 2 and is currently available to registered developers for testing. Apple is expected to use the coming weeks to fine-tune the software based on feedback before making it available to a wider audience.
Siri AI Remains The Centrepiece
One of the biggest highlights of iOS 27 continues to be Apple’s next-generation Siri AI. The revamped assistant is designed to offer more natural conversations, richer responses and deeper integration across apps and services.
Apple has positioned Siri AI as a key pillar of its Apple Intelligence strategy, enabling users to perform more complex tasks, ask open-ended questions and receive context-aware assistance. The company has also introduced a dedicated Siri AI app that provides a more conversational experience than the traditional voice assistant.
New Changes In Beta 3
According to early reports from developers, iOS 27 Beta 3 includes additional refinements to Apple’s Liquid Glass interface, improved animations and several usability enhancements across system apps. Beta 3 is also expected to address issues and design concerns identified by testers in earlier versions.
Reports suggest Apple has introduced smoother wallpaper animations, interface tweaks in Maps, updates to AirPods controls and lock screen refinements. The update also enables 5G+ branding support for compatible carriers in India, bringing the software more in line with local network offerings.
Performance And AI Features Continue To Expand
Beyond visual improvements, iOS 27 focuses heavily on AI-powered productivity. Features introduced earlier in the beta cycle include smart suggestions in Messages, natural-language event creation in Calendar, AI-powered photo editing tools and enhanced automation capabilities through Shortcuts.
Apple has also promised significant performance gains, including faster app launches, quicker photo loading and improved AirDrop transfer speeds. These optimisations aim to improve the overall user experience while supporting increasingly advanced AI features.
Public Beta Expected Soon
With Beta 3 now available, Apple appears to be moving closer to the public beta phase. Industry observers expect the first public beta of iOS 27 to arrive in the coming days, allowing millions of iPhone users to test the software before its official launch later this year.
The final version of iOS 27 is expected to debut alongside Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup, bringing Siri AI, expanded Apple Intelligence capabilities and a host of user experience improvements to supported devices.
