Here is the list of top Commerce colleges in India for 2008. This is season of admissions for students passed out of SSC and HSC. Given that Internet has become a new medium for finding information about best colleges and Institutes in India, I thought I will publish this list for the benefit of students seeking admissions in top Indian commerce colleges.
I am also planning to publish various different lists that will serve as a ready recknor for students looking to get admissions with top colleges in different streams.

But honestly, judging solely on the basis of the level of English you used in your comment, I’d say that though you are interested in English, you are not very good at it. There have so many courses in commerce to get good job. But the best 3 courses are Chartered Accounting in ICAI, Cost Accounting in ICWAI and Company Secretaryship in ICSI. And also MBA in Finance is one of the best course in Commerce to get a High-Salary job.

Yes of course it is possible. Getting 80% in math and all whole subject is so easy. Just think that “I can do it” and give so much time in study especially in math.

i feel i am comfortable with commerce compared to other subjects.
If you will go for BBA then you have no other way without MBA. But after completing B.Com you may go for several courses and also in MBA. So I think B.Com is better than BBA. Now it is your choice to choose one way. Good Luck for a bright future.

You have not taken maths in your subjects. Without math it is too hard to crack the entrance exam of CA or CPT and the whole course of CA. So my suggestion is after completing the +2 exam you will take of math book of 12 Standard and practice this too much.

I’ve passed ICSE in 2010, with 70 as an over all percentage, Though I’m really very poor in mathematics, Still I’ve taken up Commerce for further studies. Now I’m in 12 Th standard and would be appearing for my ISC exams within few months, Yes, I also Have Pure maths in my subjects.
If you are aware of the ISC board marking scheme then U would Know that an overall percentage is calculated considering morks on, best of four subjects. so It might Happen That I be able to get above 80% in the board exam but fail to achieve a huge marks in mathematics. In that case do you think applying in any of the top 20 colleges would be good enuf??
I just need some expert advice. I hope you can help me. I would also like you to suggest something Important If you can.
I passed my 10th with 74.8% and opted for commerce with maths. but now after completing my 11th wid maths the current school in which i am studing in not giving me maths because i am failing in the last term.They are instead giving me physical education. please guide me for good courses available in D.U. and is it possible to do Bca (Hons.) and economic (Hons.) without maths?
eco(hons) is impossible without maths.. dunno abt bca.

if u get above 90%in 12th then you can apply for b.com or b.com(hons.)in srcc or other top coll. in du and u also have another option of CA but for that u must have to work hard.

I completed my 12th 4m commerce stream guj.board wid 91%.I m right now in H.L institute of commerce in ahmedabad (gujarat).Our college is really rocking in all ways.Along with our academic career even extra curriculum activities are given the utmost importance.H.L.C.C & H.L.I.C both are in same campus…but just management is different..n So.H.L.C.C ranking 14th in india also applies 2 ur h.l.i.c.

Why hasn’t Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, delhi university been inculded in the commerce top 20?
it ranks approximately amongst top 6 colleges of DU,bt fails to get a place in top 20 institutes of india…
and it ranks on all india rank 21 according to india today 2011 survey!!!

I AM A CLASS 12TH STUDENT OF COMMERCE IN DHANBAD.I DONT HAVE MATHS $ business studies but i have entrepreneurship $ hindi.i got 60% in board exams but now i am a good student $ is hoping to get 80% above in 12th board exams.SO is not taking math $ business studies will hamper me for taking admissions in top 20 colleges of commerce

i just passed out my 10th with 71% and only 42 in maths thats why i havn"t taken maths in commerce.. i want to know about the graduation courses for which i can opt! after my 12th… it is true that without maths future is dump!!!
it better if u dnt go for …………..ba eco and bcom ..bcoz it needs maths mainly.!!!!!!! u can go for law,history,literature which are the core subjects of civil services!!!
i think you have missed out HR college of commerce & economics from your list. it is a much better & a reputed college in mumbai for commerce. also its cut-off is also very high,final cut-offs rangin in 83% – 81%. i think u need to do a through research.
