Pay Rs 10,000 Fine If Don’t Give Way To Ambulance In This State
The government of Tamil Nadu has issued a rule for the unwise – Rs. 10,000 will be charged as a fine on those who dont give way to a speeding ambulance.
The same rule applies to those who dont give way for fire fighters as well.
Tamil Nadu Government Imposes 10K Fine For Not Giving Way To Emergency Vehicles
Newest reports have confirmed that the Tamil Nadu government issued an order on Thursday stating that anyone who refuses to make room for an ambulance will be fined Rs 10,000.
The government order also stated that if people are found to be blocking the way of the fire fighters, they will be charged the same amount.
As per the order, failure to move to the side of the road when an ambulance, fire truck, or other emergency vehicle is approaching will result in a Section 194E fine of Rs 10,000.
Additionally, those who use their horns excessively, in prohibited areas, or while operating a vehicle that uses a cut-out to release exhaust gases other than through a silencer will be fined Rs 1,000 (if it is the first offence). If the offence is committed a second time, the fine will be increased to Rs 2,000.
As per reports, driving an uninsured vehicle can result in a fine of up to Rs 2,000 for a first offence and Rs 4,000 for a second.
The amount of the fine for operating or permitting the operation of a vehicle as a transportation vehicle without a permit, operating a vehicle without a seatbelt, operating a motor vehicle without a registration, operating a vehicle with more passengers than it is legally allowed to hold, operating a vehicle in public while violating safety regulations, operating a vehicle for racing, operating a vehicle in a dangerous manner, etc.
The notification is effective starting on Thursday, 20 October 2022.

The cash reward for helping victims is as much as Rs. 5000, as per the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin who announced this new scheme through Twitter.
