Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro Compiled: India Date, Key Specs, India Release, Availability
Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are tipped to be announced soon and said to go up on sale in October. The pre-orders are speculated to start on October 6. The upcoming phones will go on sale from October 13. Pixel 7 series was originally teased at the I/O 2022 event in May. Recently Google Pixel 7 Pro live images were doing rounds after a Facebook marketplace vendor accidentally sent a Pixel 7 Pro prototype instead of a Pixel 6 Pro.
The leaked image reveals the codename of the Google device (cheetah) and Android 13 (Tiramisu) with the ‘G’ logo at the back.
Pixel 7 Pro has already been tipped to feature a brighter display compared to its predecessor, Pixel 6 Pro.
The Pro model of the upcoming Pixel series will use a Samsung S6E3HC4 panel offering a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Also, the chip details have been leaked alongside revealing that Google Pixel 7 GS201 chip will use the 4+2+2 triple-tier CPU layout, while Google Pixel 7 Pro will use the Cirucss Logic CA40L26 chip for haptics.
The Google flagship smartphones will launch later in 2022, around August expected.
Google revealed the new design of the upcoming Pixel 7 devices. The company unveiled the much-awaited Pixel 6a at the same event, and also confirmed that Pixel 6a will release in India later in the year.
Coming back to Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the upcoming Google devices will come with an upgraded design language. The devices are seen with an aluminum visor on the rear panel, dual-tone finish, and a glass back panel.
The devices will come in White and Gray color options.
Google also confirmed that Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will come with an upgraded Tensor chipset. Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be coming this fall, likely at an event in August. In addition to the Pixel 7 series, the company will also unveil the Google Pixel Buds Pro and much-awaited Pixel Watch.
Google Pixel 7 is said to come with a 6.3-inch display compared to 6.43-inch screen size on the Pixel 6. The other variant, Pixel 7 Pro will feature a similar sized 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO display. But, Pixel 7 will have a non-LTPO display with 90Hz refresh rate. Previously the key specs were leaked out with the codenames, the Tensor chip which will be used for the upcoming Google phones and their Samsung modem.
