Many rumors and leaks around the Samsung Unpacked event were doing the rounds for quite some time now. However, the Korean tech giant has now cleared the air and announced that the event shall take place on August 10. It will include the launch of new generation of foldable smartphones, including Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
New version of the Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro shall also be introduced.
The confirmation has been given by the smartphone maker via a press release. One can watch Unpacked on Samsung’s YouTube channel on August 10, 2022, at 6.30 pm.

Design
The design of the next Galaxy foldable phones, along with different color options have been shared by the tipster. Galaxy Z Flip 4 will just like feature the same design. Along with two camera sensors at the front, the render images show that the device could pack a dual-tone effect.
Speaking of the features, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus will be installed in Galaxy Z Flip 4. It could be paired with Android 12 OS. One can expect 8GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Expected Specifications
It will have a 7.6- inch AMOLED display, a 2K resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Also, there can be a 6.2-inch HD+ cover display.
The front camera will be 10MP, the main camera is 50MP, 2MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto camera.
When it comes to the battery, along with 45W fast wired charging, Galaxy Z Fold 4 could pack a 4,400mAh battery.
Coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, the device is rumored to use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
