Vedantu Launches Offline Coaching Centre; Byju’s, Unacademy, PhysicsWallah Already Pivoted To Offline Mode

The online tutoring platform Vedantu, just like its competitors Unacademy, Byju’s and Physicswallah has now opened offline tuition centres, with the first one opening in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Just like its peers, the edtech unicorn backed by top investor Tiger Global, is opening up offline classes termed as ‘Vedantu Learning Center’ in tier-3 and tier-4 cities across the country, and will provide the best teachers from across the country to students here.

Vedantu Kicks Off its 1st Offline Coaching Centre

The online tutoring company Vedantu informed on June 30, 2022 of successfully opening its first hybrid learning center in the country, in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

It has said that its hybrid learning center will focus upon offering the students of tier-3 and tier-4 cities with the best educational material and teachers from across the country.

The Muzaffarpur centre will offer preparatory courses of competitive exams IIT-JEE and NEET to 11th standard students, along with a one-year course for the dropper batch, as per a company statement.

Besides study material, the learning centre will also offer interactive quizzes to students.

It must also be noted that Vedantu’s ‘Master Teachers’ will teach remotely and live but the classes at the centre shall be supervised by a class teacher present physically at the location to coordinate the progress of the students.

Students will have access to over 1,500 Tatva Smart books.

“Exams such as JEE and NEET are high-stakes exams and after speaking with so many parents over the years, we understand that these competitive exams require dedicated supervision & personalized attention, and our current hybrid model facilitates this for students in tier 3 and tier 4 cities,” said the edtech, Vamsi Krishna.
