Xiaomi is getting ready to launch new Redmi Note phones. The company will launch the new Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi CEO, Lu Weibing officially teased on Weibo. While the company head doesn’t explicitly mention Redmi Note 12, the poster image has a giant mention of the word ‘Note’ with a question mark, hinting at a early H2 2022 timeline. The post also says the upcoming Redmi Note series will come with improved chips.
Redmi Note 12 series will offer enhanced performance over the last year’s generations.
As Redmi Note 10 and Note 11 series, the upcoming Redmi 12 Note lineup will also have multiple models priced at different segments.
In India, Redmi Note 12 prices will start from the same range of Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 for the top models.
Redmi Note 12 series will see major upgrades in terms of performance, cameras, battery, fast charging, displays and software. The models from China will launch under different brand names and series globally and India like previous generations. Also there will be new nomenclature for the next ‘Redmi Note’ series. The series could include Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Max, Redmi Note 12X and Redmi Note 12T.
