Tata Harrier

This SUV by Tata will be a good choice if you’re looking for an SUV under Rs. 20 lakh, as it costs something between Rs 14.65 lakh and Rs 21.95 lakh. The Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine that belts out 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. These are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, along with an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic. 

MG Hector                  

This China-made SUV also ranges under Rs. 20 lakh and comes with come with a 10.4-inch infotainment system, an Infinity sound system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and power front seats.

Tata Safari

The new Tata Safari SUV is designed similarly to Tata’s Impact 2.0 design language, which highlights the all-purpose nature of the car. The top variant of the car comes at Rs. 24.46 lakh, and the basic variant is at Rs. 15.25 lakh. The variants offered are XE, XM, XMA AT, XT, XT Plus, XT Plus Dark Edition and XZ.

Hyundai Alcazar

The SUV’s starting price for the petrol version is Rs 16.30 lakh, whereas the diesel version is priced from Rs 16.53 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This is Hyundai’s first 7 seater SUV. 

Jeep Compass

A brand new Knight Edition variant of Creta SUV has been launched by the South Korean automaker Hyundai. Its price starts at Rs. 13.35 lakh and is based on the S+ and SX(O) trim levels. The SUV which comes with a choice of 1.5-liter petrol and turbo-diesel engines has cosmetic updates both inside and out.
