Pixel 7 Pro Case Leak Confirms Design, Camera Layout: Expected Launch Date?
Google Pixel 7 Pro case renders confirm the new design ahead of the upcoming Google phone ahead of launch. The handset features a similar design as the last generation Pixel 6 Pro. It sports a power button, volume rocker on right with speaker grills at the bottom along with a USB Type-C port. The horizontal camera module at the back houses two regular-sized lenses in one and additional lens separately.
Google Pixel 7 is said to come with a 6.3-inch display compared to 6.43-inch screen size on the Pixel 6.
The other variant, Pixel 7 Pro will feature a similar sized 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO display. But, Pixel 7 will have a non-LTPO display with 90Hz refresh rate. Previously the key specs were leaked out with the codenames, the Tensor chip which will be used for the upcoming Google phones and their Samsung modem.
As the predecessor generation, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will come powered by Google’s second-generation in-house Tensor chipset.
The next generation Pixel 7 series will come with an upgraded second-gen Tensor chipset with a Samsung-made Exynos Modem 5300.
Google Pixel 7 Pro could come with a 6.7-inch to 6.8-inch curved screen, probably will be an OLED and have a higher refresh rate than Pixel 6 Pro. It will come with two speakers with the SIM card slot on the left with the power and volume buttons on the right. Google Pixel 7 Pro camera bump is expected to be 11.2 mm.
Surprisingly, a third Pixel device with codename attached to the Exynos Modem 5300 has been spotted as well, so we might see three phones under the Pixel 7 series in 2022. Recently Google accidentally confirmed Pixel 6a existence, and leakster Max Jambor tipped that Pixel 6a will go official sometime in May.
It has also been confirmed that a new Pixel smartphone is coming to India soon, and will launch in the country by the end of Q1 2022.
As per the rumors, it could be the yet to be released Pixel 6a or the unreleased Pixel 5a in the county. The upcoming Google Pixel device will soon be certified by the BIS soon. It could be either the unreleased Pixel 6a, or the Pixel 5a from last year which didn’t make it to India.
Google has kept away Pixel phones from India after Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL and just launched Pixel A series mid-range handsets in India as Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a. Previously there has been hints at the cancellation of Pixel 5a launch in India, but now it seems there are some strong chances. The company is yet to confirm Pixel 6a release.
