RedmiBook Pro 2022 will launch with Redmi K50 series on March 17. Redmi K50 Pro+ in the latest teaser confirms the top-end Redmi K50 will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. RedmiBook Pro 2022 has already been spotted on Geekbench 5 with the Intel Core i7-12650H CPU scoring 1800 on the single-core and 11872 on the multi-core test.

The upcoming Xiaomi smartphones are tipped to feature Samsung’s 2K AMOLED panels. Poco F4 GT will be the global variant of Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. Redmi K50 series will include four phones: Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro+ and Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The devices will release in India under different brands and nomenclature.
They will be powered by Dimensity 8000, Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 respectively.
The company has already teased the Redmi K50 Series has been teased with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 120W ultra fast charging and a “Dual Vapor Chamber” heat dissipation setup.
Xiaomi also confirmed that the 120W charging technology will charge a 4,7000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
Redmi K50 series will debut in February in China, while the devices will be rebranded in India. Poco F4 GT will come as a rebranded Redmi K50 Pro Gaming Edition in India. Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will launch as Mi 12X and Mi 12X Pro. It also has been leaked that the upcoming Redmi K50 models will come with MIUI 13 out of the box. As last year, Redmi K50 series will have a gaming-focused smartphone.

Leaked Redmi K50 Pro+ confirms it will arrive with a 6.67-inch 2K Samsung AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout offering 120Hz refresh rate. It’s said to run on Android 12 based on MIUI 13. Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will have a similar hardware setup except for the chipset: Snapdragon 870 SoC and Dimensity 8100 SoC respectively.
