Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro: Expected Launch Date, Specs, Gaming Edition To Release As Poco F4 GT In India?
Redmi K50 Series has been teased with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 120W ultra fast charging and a “Dual Vapor Chamber” heat dissipation setup. Xiaomi confirmed that the 120W charging technology will charge a 4,7000mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Redmi K50 series will debut in February in China, while the devices will be rebranded in India. Poco F4 GT will come as a rebranded Redmi K50 Pro Gaming Edition in India.
While Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro will launch as Mi 12X and Mi 12X Pro.
It also has been leaked that the upcoming Redmi K50 models will come with MIUI 13 out of the box.
As this year, Redmi K50 series will also have a gaming edition smartphone just like Redmi K40 Gaming Edition or POCO F3 GT. Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The devices are teased to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Previously XiaomiMIUI reported that Xiaomi Ingres has been found with model number L11 where Redmi K50 Pro is said to come as Xiaomi 12X in India and POCO F4 Pro worldwide. Recently it was reported that the Xiaomi Ingres will launch as Redmi K50 Pro in China. A few months back three new Xiaomi devices emerged online: Evergreen, Evergo, and Ingres. The same model will be unveiled under three different Xiaomi brands, in India and globally.
Xiaomi Ingres has the same model number L11 tipped to be the Pro model of the upcoming Redmi K50 series.
The smartphone codenamed Ingres also appeared on multiple IMEI databases, 22011211C in China, 22011211I in India and 22011211G for the global market.
The XiaomiMIUI report suggested that the Ingres (Redmi K50 Pro) will launch as Xiaomi 12X in India and POCO F4 Pro same as Redmi K40 Pro, which launched as Xiaomi Mi 11X and POCO F3 GT earlier this year. All Redmi K50 Pro, Xiaomi 12X and POCO F4 Pro will come in 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM options and tipped to gesture 4MP OmniVision OV64B primary sensor.
