This Can Be Maruti’s 1st Ever CNG-Based SUV: India Launch Date, Price, USPs
Maruti Suzuki now has big plans about adding a new CNG powered vehicle to the company’s already existing CNG vehicle portfolio.
As per reports, the company is now planning to introduce a CNG-powered version of its new Brezza and will be launched by April this year.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG To Be Launched In April?
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG will continue to use the 1,462 cc K15B petrol engine.
The engine cylinder has a 74.0×85.0 bore and stroke. The regular BSVI compliant gasoline mill generates 77 kW (103.2 hp) maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of peak torque delivered at 4,400 rpm. Whereas, the CNG version, will produce less power and torque – developing 68 kW (91.2 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 122 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The powertrain could be paired only with a five-speed manual transmission, but nothing can be said with assurance as of now. Maruti Suzuki is hoping that the arrival of the CNG variant will certainly help in expanding the compact SUV’s range further. This could aid in elevating sales figures as now the customers will have more options to choose from the same manufacturer.

The exterior of the car will come with a completely new design, with a new front and rear fascia and sheet metal changes.
