Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 Pro: 120W Fast Charging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
Xiaomi 12 series will be unveiled at the end of December which will include Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro. All three models have now been spotted in the database of the TENAA certification site, while the 12 Pro model has also received the 3C certification. The upcoming three new Xiaomi phones with model numbers 2201123C, 2201122C and 2112123AC have appeared at TENAA which are said to be Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X.
Xiaomi 12X will feature the Snapdragon 870, while the upper-end Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun previously confirmed the upcoming flagship by the company will run on Qualcomm’s all new flagship chip. Jun didn’t reveal the Xiaomi 12 launch date, but it is said to debut on December 28 now. Qualcomm is yet to confirm the exact name.
Popular internet leakster Digital Chat Station earlier shared that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 phones will come with curved displays. Xiaomi 12 will feature an updated 50MP main camera, a Full HD+ AMOLED display of 120Hz refresh with a larger optical fingerprint scanner and 100W charging. Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X have already been spotted with a 67W fast charging support.
Now, the major revelation is Xiaomi 12 Pro’s appearance at the 3C certification site where it is found that the device will support 120W fast charging. Xiaomi 12 series will further include Xiaomi 12 Ultra, expected to debut in Q1 2022 like the predecessor, Mi 11 Ultra. Xiaomi 12 Lite and 12 Lite Zoom will later debut in March 2022, the toned-down models. All the Xiaomi 12 phones will run on MIUI 13 based on the latest Android 12.
