Skoda’s New Rs 10 Lakh Sedan Will Challenge Honda City, Hyundai Verna: Launch Date, USPs
The production version of the new Skoda Slavia has been revealed.
The new Slavia, is expected to be on sale early next year and Customer deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2022, with bookings open now.
Also, it will be released in February or March of next year, with a price range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Slavia measures 4,541mm in length, 1,752mm in width, and 1,487mm in height, with a 2,651mm wheelbase. The Slavia comes with a 521-litre boot.

Features
The Slavia Style comes with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car features (MySkoda Connect), LED headlights and taillights, leather upholstery, ventilated seats, an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, automatic climate control, keyless entry, and an auto-dimming internal rearview mirror. The entry-level Active trim, on the other hand, gets a smaller 7-inch touchscreen.
Six airbags, ESC, an electronic differential system (EDS), a tyre pressure monitor, hill-hold control (optional), a rear parking camera, multi-collision brake, and ISOFIX child seat fixings are included in the Slavia Style’s safety features.
The Skoda Slavia will be available in three trim levels at launch: Active, Ambition, and Style.

Available in Tornado Red, Crystal Blue, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel.
Engine
The new Skoda Slavia comes with two TSI turbo-petrol engines to choose from.
The first is a 115hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
A 150hp, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder TSI engine with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG gearbox is the alternative, more powerful choice.
The 1.5 TSI also has cylinder deactivation technology, which saves gasoline.
Rivals
The Slavia will compete with the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the upcoming Volkswagen Virtus, among other midsize sedans.
