Reliance Will Launch India’s 1st Open Air Rooftop Drive-In Theater With 290-Cars Capacity!
Reliance Retail is opening India’s first open air roof-top theatre on November 5 at its premium shopping mall Jio World Drive (JWD) in Mumbai.
Called Jio Drive-In, the concept has people driving in to watch cinema in the open air instead of the confines of a theater.

Jio Drive-In will be operated by PVR and be able to accomodate 290 cars.
It also boasts of having the biggest screen in town.
PVR’s flagship cinema concept of Maison PVR will make its debut which includes 6 state-of-the-art multiplex theatres, preview theatre and separate entrance for VIP guests.
The JWD mall is spread across 17.5 acres in the commercial heart of Mumbai, Bandra Kurla Complex.

It serves the company’s ambitions to bring innovative concepts in entertainment, food and beverage, retail, and culture to India.
Many of these global experiences are only experimental but promise unique experiences for visitors.
It will host exclusively premium foreign and domestic brands.

It will also introduce FreshPik, Reliance’s new food and grocery concept store for high end consumers to the public.

F&B attractions include Nine Dine which offers a multicultural experience with nine global cuisine outlets.
The mall is also home to Italian restaurant Motodo.
It offers an authentic Italian experience for which star chef and restaurateur Ritu Dalmia has been roped in.
The mall is operated responsibly, with only those double vaccinated and having passed 14 days from their second shot allowed entry.
