7000 Ultra Rich Indians Left Country In 2019; Top 10 Nations Where Rich Citizens Are Leaving
Migration is not a new concept. People have been migrating for ages from one place to another. Throughout history, humans have crossed continents in search of a better life. The epitome of Democracy in today’s age, The United States of America finds its roots in-migration of people from Europe. So, it is no wonder that even today, a considerable amount of people are changing their citizenship.
7000 Indians left the country in 2019
Recently a study was conducted by AfrAsia Bank regarding High Net Worth Individuals who left the country and are living in another country for more than six months. It should be noted that the study covered only individuals with a net worth of $1 million to $9.9 million. According to the report, work, opportunities, tax, and financial concerns are among the reasons HNWI decided to make these moves.
The same study has reported that in 2019, 7,000 high net worth individuals (HNWI) from India have left the country and moved overseas.

From the table above we can see that, China lost the most number of HNWI whereas India was ranked second.
