Tata Sold 6000 Altroz Cars In Last 30 Days; Rolls Ou 100,000th Altroz From Pune!
One of the leading automakers of India, Tata, now has a new record to its name – the company has sold as much as 6000 Altroz cars in the last 30 days.
The car competes with Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz.

Tata Motors Sells 6000 Altroz Models In The Last 30 Days
Tata Motors has now achieved a major success in terms of production – recently, the 1,00,000th Altroz had been rolled off of the assembly line of the company’s plant in Pune.
As per reports, 7550 units of the car have been sold as of March 21, and the average monthly sales in FY 2022 are 6000 units.
Mr. Rajan Amba, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing & Customer Care, PVBU, Tata Motors said, “We are pleased to share that we have crossed a major milestone during these challenging times and are grateful for the constant support and loyalty of our customers and partners. The feat of 1,00,000th rollout today, is yet another testament to success of the Altroz in a challenging segment like premium hatchback.”
The car’s base variant has been awarded a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection and a 3-star rating for child occupant protection by the Global NCAP. The Altroz has been priced between Rs 5.84 lakh and Rs 9.59 lakh (both ex-showroom) in the Indian car market.
Tata Altroz: Specifications And Features
There are two petrol engine variants available on the hatchback, a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre motor that churns out 85 BHP and 113 Nm and a turbocharged version that produces 108 BHP and 140 Nm.
Both of these cars have been paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car also comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 89 BHP and 200 Nm. This engine also comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Tata Motors had also introduced the Altroz Dark Edition featuring a Cosmo Black exterior and black 16-inch alloy wheels at the beginning of the year.
As per reports, a dual clutch transmission is also under development and is expected to be launched with the turbo-petrol engine in the future.
