Tata Motors is all set to launch the new Tata Punch and the new micro-SUV will be here before Diwali! This will be the company’s smallest SUV and will be positioned below the Nexon.

Images Of Tata Punch Leaked; What Do They Say?
An image of the Tata Punch has already been released in production spec, which was previously known as the Tata HBX.
The exterior images of the Tata Punch have revealed that the car’s front bumper and body cladding will be toned down from the HBX concept. However, there will be the squared wheel arches, upright stance and heavy cladding all around will give the car an SUV look. The front bumper of the car will come with Tata’s signature Y design motifs and a pair of fog lamps.
The Punch will also come with the family design language, i.e., split-headlamp setup and Tata’s humanity line grille, that is already seen on the Tata Harrier and Safari.
As per reports, there will be dual tone exterior paint options available on the car. The wheels of the car will be 16 inches. The rear end design has not been revealed by the company yet.
Tata Punch: Specifications, Features, And Prices
The car will probably be powered by two 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine options. The lower spec variant of the car will be naturally aspirated that is also on the Tiago and the Tigor. It will produce 83 hp power. It will be based on ALFA architecture, and the underpinnings will be shared with Altroz. The transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
Coming to the interior and the features of the car, it is probable that the car will come with a dashboard design characterized by a free-standing 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and squarish air con vents.
The Punch will come with a lot of interior features similar to the Altroz such as the the three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, HVAC controls, and even the part-digital instrument cluster with a digital tachometer and analogue speedometer.
Now, the price of the Tata Punch – the car is expected to be priced just under the Rs. 5 lakh mark. It is also expected to compete against Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the upcoming Hyundai Casper along with entry-level compact SUVs like the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
