Mi 12 Launch Date, Specs: Snapdragon 895 SoC, 200MP Camera, 200W Fast Charging
Mi 12 specs are out, and the upcoming Mi 11 Ultra successor will pack in some top-level flagship features again. A new leak revealed some key Mi 1$ specs regarding the display, processor and camera. According to a popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Mi smartphone will run on Snapdragon SM8450 SoC, supposed to be the next generation Snapdragon 895.
The SM8450 chip will succeed the Snapdragon 888 Plus, and the marketing name is suggested to be Snapdragon 895.
In terms of optics, Mi 12 is said to have a 200MP camera sensor. It will be the 200MP Olympus unit by Samsung, the South Korean tech giant is planning to use on the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The 200MP Olympus camera sensor by Samsung will offer 16-in-1 pixel binning technology. The sensors will produce 12.5MP images with pixel-binning technology and may capture 200MP HQ images as well. Mi 12 will have a curved display with a single punch hole on the screen.

In other news about Xiaomi, the sub-brand Redmi will unveil the tenth generation Redmi 10 series to India. The company teased the launch with a special teaser calling it Redmi Revolution. The tagline says: brace yourselves for the #RedmiRevolution, clearly hinting at Redmi 10 series.
The series has already been leaked on earlier occasions, and the latest teaser hints at a July launch in the country. The tweet also mentions a special hashtag, #10on10, so be sure that the upcoming Redmi phones will be from Redmi 10 series in July.
Redmi 10 series may include four to five smartphones just as last year, all will be inspired heavily by Redmi Note 10 series lineup at a budget pricing around Rs 10,000. The upcoming Redmi 10 series will primarily include four phones, though the lineup may extend further given Xiaomi is known often to expand a particular series with multiple handsets.
