Every Busy Route In India Will Be Connected With India’s Fastest Train: Vande Bharat Express! 1600+ Coaches Will Be Made
All the busy routes in India will now be connected through the Vande Bharat Express by 2024 – and the Indian Railways has already begun the preparations for the same!
Vande Bharat is India’s self-developed semi-high speed train set, which matches the international standards and takes shorter time to complete journeys, compared to the Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains.

Vande Bharat Express Trains To Connect All Busy Routes In India by 2024
As per reports, the national transporter has already started the preparation for connecting all the busy routes in India through the Vande Bharat Express which is to be completed by the year 2024.
As per ministry officials, the intention of Indian Railways has been confirmed. They have stated that all the busy routes will be connected by the Vande Bharat express train.
Recently, we reported to you that the Indian Railways has restored the Vande Bharat and Gatiman Express trains to provide convenient, faster and comfortable travelling.
Two Vande Bharat express trains are already running on the track of India, the first one from Delhi to Varanasi, and the second from Delhi to Katra.
101 Rakes With 1616 Coaches To Be Manufactured
More than 100 Vande Bharat Express rakes are to be built during this time at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai as a better and convenient way to travel to the passengers. Reportedly, 42 rakes with 672 coaches are to be built in the financial year of 2022-23 and 59 rakes with 944 rakes will be built in the financial year 2023-24.
22 of the 42 rakes that are to be manufactured in in the financial year 2022-23 will be manufactured at Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, 10 each at Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Rae Bareli, and Rail Factory Kapurthala (RCF), Kapurthala.
Whereas, in the next financial year of 2023-24, 30 rakes will be made at ICF Chennai, 15 at Modern Coach Factory (MCF) Rae Bareli, and 14 at Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala (RCF).
52 rakes will be manufactured at ICF Chennai, which is the maximum in both the years. This means that 101 rakes with 1616 coaches will be manufactured in these two financial years.
Recently, it was also reported that to honor the 75th year of Independence in 2022, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has finalized plans to roll out about 10 new Vande Bharat trains by August next year, which will connect at least 40 cities.
