POCO X3 GT India Launch Won’t Happen, Company Confirms: But Why?
POCO X3 GT won’t be releasing in India. POCO X3 GT launched on July 28 in Malaysia. POCO X3 GT is basically a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China variant. POCO India Country Director Anuj Sharma said the common already offers POCO X3 Pro and POCO F3 GT in India, and if they launch POCO X3 GT in India, it will further confuse the POCO’s portfolio in the country.
The company just unveiled POCO F3 GT 5G in India, a rebranded Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition in the country.
POCO X3 GT runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G SoC, the second most powerful flagship chip from MediaTek after Dimensity 1200 with 67W Turbo Charging support backed by a 5,000mAh battery.
The country head said “we have always maintained a lean-mean portfolio and focus on ‘Everything you need, Nothing you don’t, we believe that between the 2 segment-best offerings of Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3 GT, we have unmatched products.” He further added “the brand has big plans for the future, but the POCO X3 GT is not part of them.”

POCO X3 GT is a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China variant. POCO X3 GT specifications include a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display offering 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support. POCO X3 GT runs on MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The POCO phone runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12 custom POCO skin out of the box. POCO X3 GT connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port for charging.
POCO X3 GT features a triple camera system at the back: a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens for close-up shots. Upfront, POCO X3 GT will pack a 16MP snapper for selfies.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, VC Liquid Cold Cooling technology and JBL powered dual stereo speakers. POCO X3 GT is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.
