ICICI Bank Changes ATM Withdrawal Charges: Rs 20 Per Transaction; Up to Rs 150 Per Cash Withdrawal

Already pandemic ridden customers of ICICI bank are in for a series of extra changes. The Domestic Savings Account Holders of the bank will have to face various changes such as the limit to the number of cash transactions, ATM interchanges, and chequebook Charges, etc. These changes will be applicable from August 2021. A series of changes have been announced on the official website of the company. 

Chequebook Charges

Previously no charges were being levied for the first 20 payable-at-par cheque leaves in a year. Now for the delight of customers, the number has been increased to 25. 

Anywhere Cash Withdrawal

Now only the first transaction of withdrawal of cash will not be charged. All next transactions will be charged Rs.5 for withdrawal of each thousand rupees. This is subjected to a minimum withdrawal of Rs.150.

Anywhere Cash Deposit

For depositing your own hard-earned money in the bank accounts you will be charged Rs.5 per thousand, subject to a minimum of Rs. 150. 

ATM Interchange Charges (Transactions at Non-ICICI Bank ATMs)

In metro locations i.e. Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, only the first 3 transactions (inclusive of Financial and Non-Financial) transactions, will be free of cost.

In all rest of the locations, the first 5 transactions will be free.

If you wish to transact on more than these free number of occasions, from non-ICICI ATMs you will be charged, Rs 20 per financial transaction and Rs 8.50 per non-financial transaction.

Cash Transaction Charges (inclusive of Deposit and Withdrawal) for regular saving account

The bank has allowed 4 free cash deposit and withdrawal transactions per month. Above that, you will be charged Rs.150

Value Limit 

Value limit is the total sum of withdrawals and deposits done by the customer in all home and non-home branches.

For the Home branch value limit is set at Rs. 1 Lakh per month per account. Whereas for non-home branches, customers will not be charged a penny till Rs.25000. In case of both cases, if the limit is exceeded the customers will be charged, Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150.

For Senior Citizens, even though the limit is kept at Rs.25000, they won’t be charged.

ICICI Bank regular plus salary account charges:

Salary account holders won’t be charged, for the first 4 transactions in a month; thereafter Rs 5 per thousand rupees or part thereof, subject to a minimum of Rs 150 in the same month.
