Xiaomi’s Mi Smart Band 6 Hits 1 Million Shipment Mark In Less Than Three Weeks
Xiaomi’s Mi Smart Band 6 has now breached 1 million shipments, as announced by CEO Lei Jun; most of these are from China. Sales in China started on APril 2, and the band was globally launched a few weeks later.
Before this, the Mi Band 3 had breached the 1 million mark in 17 days, whereas in the case of the Mi Band 4, it was only 8 days to hit the 1 million mark.

Mi Band 6 has a larger 1.56-inch AMOLED touchscreen display offering a screen resolution of 152 x 486 pixels. Mi Band 6 has a pixel density of 326ppi with 450 nits of peak brightness and is waterproof up to 50 metres.
As for the battery, the band comes with a 125mAh battery, claimed by the company to deliver a standby time of up to 14 days. The band can be charged completely in two hours and supports Bluetooth 5.0.
The smart band supports upto 30 sports models and can auto-detect six activities like walking, running, indoor treadmill and cycling. Mi Band 6 has 24/7 blood pressure monitoring, blood oxygen (SPO2), and heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking.
The base variant model is priced at CNY 229 (around Rs 2,500). The Mi Band 6 special edition with NFC is priced at CNY 279 (around Rs 3,000). Mi Band 6 is available in Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Silver, White, and Yellow colour options.
Mi Band 6 price in India is going to be very competitive this time given the number of competitors, so expect the price to stay between Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500.
The band is expected to be launched in India in the next month, i.e., May.
