Unnamed Realme phone with Snapdragon 750G has been spotted, expected to be Realme 8 Pro 5G. The company will launch Realme 8 5G smartphone in the country later this week, but as per the incoming reports, the company may also unveil the 5G model of the Pro version as well. The TENAA certification with model number RMX3161 confirms the existence. The RMX3161 model has also been spotted on Geekbench platform.
The key specifications have been leaked out along with the processor and RAM information.
Realme RMX3161 model will be run on Qualcomm’s mid-range 5G chip, the Snapdragon 750G processor. It is listed to run at a base frequency of 1.80GHz and will pack in eight cores. The source code revealed the chip will pair with Adreno 619 GPU. The expected Realme 8 Pro 5G scored 657 in single-core test and 1940 in multi-core test.
Speculated Realme 8 Pro 5G Geekbench listing confirms 8GB of RAM and Android 11 operating system on Realme UI 2.0 skin. The upcoming Realme phone will be 8.8mm thick and will come with a 6.5-inch display. The Realme 5G phone will be backed by a 4880mAh battery along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a quad rear camera system.
While we are yet to know whether it’s Realme 8 Pro 5G or not, but the leaked information directly hints at the Pro model. Realme 8 Pro 5G was previously rumoured to come with the Snapdragon 750G processor, so RMX3161 could be the 5G version of the Realme 8 Pro.
Realme will soon launch the Realme 8 5G, the 5G version of the vanilla Realme 8 model on April 22 in India. Similarly, the Realme 8 series will have 5G versions for both the phones. After Realme 8 5G, the Realme 8 Pro 5G could arrive soon. Realme 8 5G has been confirmed to come with a 90Hz screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor and a 5000mAh battery.
Realme 8 5G India launch will happen on April 22. Realme 8 5G Flipkart availability is also expected to be teased soon. Realme 8 5G price in India is expected to stay at around Rs 15,000 given it will come with the budget 5G chip. Realme 8 5G price in India for the base variant may start at Rs 15,999 or Rs 16,999. MediaTek recently unveiled the Dimensity 700 5G chip in the country, and Realme 8 5G will be the first smartphone to come with it.
