TikTok Confident About Comeback In India; India CEO Talks About ‘Long Term’ Goals

This has been revealed after TikTok’s India CEO shared an optimist and hope-fuelled letter to all Indian employees.

TikTok India Hopeful For A Comeback
TikTok India Head Nikhil Gandhi has sent an optimistic-sounding letter to all Indian employees, wherein he has expressed hope for a comeback in India.
The optimism shown in the letter is indeed very interesting, and speculations are now rife that TikTok can actually make a comeback.
Nikhil has informed all the employees that they are working with the Govt to resolve all issues, and they are dedicated to make sure that their company survives in India.
In the letter, Nikhil said, “Our clarifications have been submitted to the Government and we will continue to allay any further concerns they may have. Together with our employees, we remain dedicated to our users and creators who have found not only recognition but also new avenues of livelihood through our platform,”
TikTok Still Employs 2000 In India
Despite the ban on TikTok in India, their parent company: ByteDance employs around 2000 employees in India.
Not only they were assured of job security but also provided with salary bonuses and other incentives.
In the past, rumors have floated around that maybe Reliance or Airtel or even Microsoft can takeover Indian operations, and relaunch the app with all the security measures and data privacy in place.
Govt had banned TikTok, along with other Chinese apps citing threat to national security.
In the letter, Nikhil said, “We have demonstrated unequivocal commitment to comply with the local laws, including data privacy and security requirements, and are therefore optimistic about a positive outcome.
