Realme V5 has been confirmed with a 48-megapixel camera inside a four camera setup. Upfront the upcoming Realme V-series smartphone will feature a punch-hole display. It’s going to be a budget 5G smartphone, all set to launch in China first.
Realme 7, Realme 7 Pro: Realme V5 To Come As Realme 7 In India?
Realme 7 could come as a rebranded Realme V5 in India according to a recent development. Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro will be the first smartphones of the Realme 7 series, and the rumour mill has already tipped on a couple of occasions that the upcoming Realme 7 phones will feature 5G this time.
Realme V5, the new Realme smartphone will come with a punch-hole display and 5G connectivity on top. The rear camera system will come inside a square-shaped module, a new look.

The company is soon expected to bring in the Realme 6 successors, probably by August or September. Realme 7 Pro will pack in a multi camera system, punch-hole display, 5G connectivity and newly upgraded Snapdragon chip.

Leaked via Weibo post, the shared listing shows two versions of the upcoming Realme smartphone: RMX2111 and RMX2112. These are the two variants of the Realme V5 which will be different in terms of connectivity options, probably 4G and 5G models.
Realme V5 in India and some other markets will not come with 5G support.
Realme V5 will come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display featuring a punch-hole upfront. It’s going to be a single punch-hole as Realme 6 series housing a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, as leaked on the TENAA listing.
The fingerprint sensor will stay on the power button on the side, same as previously we saw on the Realme V5 teaser.
In terms of optics, Realme C5 has been confirmed to feature a 48-megapixel main sensor alongside three additional sensors: 8-megapixel ultra wide angle sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The Realme V5 TENAA listing confirms Realme V5 will come with a 5G chipset running on eight cores clocking a maximum speed of 2.0GHz, while the processor is yet to be confirmed. The 5G chip could either be Snapdragon 765G or the latest Dimensity 820 SoC from MediaTek.
Realme V5 will be available in two storage combinations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB onboard storage with no support for additional storage. Realme V5 will come with a sizable 4,900mAh battery, as the listing revealed. It will come with some sort of fast charging technology.
Realme V5 Price, Launch: In India As Realme 7?
Realme V5 will launch today in China. The upcoming Realme V5 will be available in three colour combinations: dark grey, green and silver. Leaked Realme V5 price for the 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage is set at CNY 1,699 (around Rs 18,000).
There will be an 8GB RAM variant as well, and the price is expected to stay around INR 22,000.
In India, we may get the Realme V5 4G model probably, maybe a rebranded Realme 7 with a different processor. Realme 7 India launch is expected in a couple of months. While we don’t know what’s Realme cooking for real, so take this with a pinch of salt for now.
