Xiaomi Phone with Dimensity 1000+ SoC is tipped to be in the works, could be launching soon. The company recently unveiled Redmi 10X 5G series with Dimensity 820 5G mid-range chip, and the upcoming Xiaomi Dimensity 1000+ smartphone could be the next Redmi 5G phone, probably Redmi Note 10 Pro.

The last Redmi Note phone to run on a MediaTek chip was Redmi Note 8 Pro on gaming-centric Helio G90T.

The upcoming Xiaomi Dimensity 1000+ phone is going to offer 5G on a mid-range pricing and probably will be in line with Redmi K30 5G. The device runs on Snapdragon 765G, the mid-range 5G chip from Qualcomm, and this device may be in line with it.

The Dimensity 1000 chip series is said to be an alternative to the current Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm. The upcoming OnePlus affordable smartphone, the OnePlus Z could come with the flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip.

The Dimensity 1000 has been rumoured to have comparable performance with the Snapdragon 865.

Dimensity 1000 will also come with a built-in 5G modem offering 5G connectivity on different modes.

The upcoming Xiaomi Dimensity 1000+ Phone has been tipped to come with some top features on-board. As leaked by tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, the popular Chinese microblogging site, the Mi Dimensity 1000+ Phone is said to be in works.

Xiaomi recently launched two 5G phones on the latest Dimensity platform. Redmi 10X 5G series with Dimensity 820 5G mid-range chip. Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X 5G Pro both run on Dimensity 820 5G.

So, Xiaomi and MediaTek are working closely now. The company also unveiled Redmi Note 9 on Helio G85 chip, the first device to run on the new budget chip from MediaTek.

It won’t be surprising to see Xiaomi bringing another mid-range smartphone on the new chip. If OnePlus Z will house the new chip, it will make the upcoming Mi phone with Dimensity 1000 a direct competitor to the upcoming OnePlus 8 Lite aka OnePlus Z.

Coming the leaked Xiaomi Dimensity 1000+ Phone specs, the Mi 5G phone is tipped to come with a 144Hz rated LCD display running on MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC.

Xiaomi Dimensity 1000+ Phone will support dual-mode 5G connectivity, thanks to the built-in 5G modem.

The device will offer 5G + 5G dual-card dual standby with 5G dual-carrier aggregation technology. Dimensity 1000+ will have MiraVision onboard to let it offer chip-level image quality optimisation with gaming-centric features and capabilities to offer hardcore performance.
