Poco M2 Pro India Launch Soon, Spotted On Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance: To Cost Under 15,000?
Poco M2 Pro, the upcoming Poco mid-range smartphone from the Xiaomi sub-brand is coming soon to India. Spotted on Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance databases, the latest Poco smartphone is said to be a mid-range offering, according to the Gsmarena.
Poco M2 Pro already was spotted on a listing early this month, and the new listings hint at an imminent launch.
The company recently unveiled Poco F2 Pro in Europe, a remodelled Redmi K30 Pro. Poco F2 Pro is expected in India in a few weeks, while Poco M2 Pro in India is being expected during the same period. Poco M2 Pro will be priced somewhere around Poco X2.

Poco M2 Pro was spotted with the M2003J6CI model number and the “gram” codename. The upcoming midrange Poco phone will primarily target the sub-15,000 market with top-end features and specifications. The device was spotted on both Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG databases.
Xiaomi recently revived the Poco brand and separated it to relaunch as an independent brand.
Poco X2 was the first smartphone under the new venture after almost one and a half years post Poco F1 from 2018. Poco M2 Pro will be another addition to the mid-range category in the sub-15,000 range.
Coming to the Poco M2 Pro listing, the Bluetooth SIG data confirms that the upcoming Poco phone will run on MUI 11 and comes with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. The Declaration ID matches with the Redmi Note 9 series.
Poco is gearing for its next smartphone launch in India. Poco has already launched Poco F2 Pro globally but for the Indian market it’s prepping a different phone. Dubbed as Poco M2 Pro, key details of the smartphone have appeared in Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliances databases.
On the Wi-Fi Alliance listing, Poco M2 Pro is confirmed to be running on Android 10 with dual-band Wi-Fi. The listing further reveals “gram” kernel as the source name. It’s the same as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. So there’s a possibility that Poco M2 Pro may come as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro for the European market.
Poco M2 Pro Specs, Features: What Will It Pack?
The Bluetooth SIG listing confirms Poco M2 Pro will come with MIUI 11 and Bluetooth 5.0. Wi-Fi Alliance listing shows the device is confirmed to be running on Android 10 with dual-band Wi-Fi. Nothing is known except for these features.
The same “gram” kernel source name as Note 9 Pro tells another story. The declaration ID of the Poco phone is same as Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Poco M2 Pro could come as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro for the European market. So, in that case, Poco M2 Pro won’t come to India then.
Till now Poco M2 Pro has been spotted on multiple occasions. It recently appeared on Xiaomi India RF exposure page, and now on Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance databases. While we need to wait for the official confirmation, for now it’s sure a device named Poco M2 Pro is in the works.
