Chances are Xiaomi India will again launch the new Redmi K30 Pro as Poco F2 or Poco X2 Pro. Not going to nomenclature for now, there’s some thick probability that the Redmi K30 Pro will come as the Poco smartphone in India.

Redmi K30 Pro As The Next Poco Smartphone: Poco F2 / Poco X2 Pro?
In India, the upcoming Redmi K30 Pro may launch as Poco F2 as per some reports. Already unveiled in China, Redmi K30 Pro may come to India in April or later, either under Redmi brand or as Poco F2 or Poco X2 Pro.
Poco X2 is a rebranded Redmi K30 4G unit.
Similarly, the company may again choose to go with a rebranded phone for Poco, the independent brand from Xiaomi’s umbrella.
While we are yet to know, Redmi K30 Pro is definitely coming to India, either as Poco X2 Pro or Poco F2, or with the same name succeeding Redmi K20 Pro. Redmi K30 Pro comes with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 64MP quad camera setup and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The device comes with a notchless AMOLED display, pop-up selfie camera, 4,700mAh battery and 33W fast charging support.

The new Redmi K30 Pro can actually be termed a flagship killer. With the same pop-up camera notch-less design, the K30 Pro packs in almost all the best of technology available.
Design, Display
Redmi K30 Pro comes with a pop-up selfie camera design featuring a 6.67-inch Full HD+ notchless Super AMOLED display. It’s a HDR10+ certified display on K30 Pro offering 1200 nits of peak brightness with a 5000000:1 contrast ratio.
Redmi K30 Pro comes with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz but only supports 60Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner embedded beneath.
Hardware, Storage
Redmi K30 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm flagship chip. It’s the 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC and it pairs with a 5G modem and up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone will be available with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Redmi K30 Pro as the predecessor will focus on gaming again, and the handset has been claimed to have the largest vapour chamber (VC).
K30 Pro will offer high-end liquid cooling to dissipate heat during hardcore extended gaming sessions keeping its temperature at the lowest.
Software, UI
Redmi K30 Pro runs on the latest Android 10 with MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. Poco F2 will come with a special Poco launcher on top.
The UI comes loaded with features and bloatware, and delivers a clean performance as any other non-stock device.
There’s Android 10 on both, so you don’t have to worry about anything in terms of the latest updates.
Cameras
Coming to optics, Redmi K30 Pro sports a quad camera setup at the back featuring a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP macro lens, a 13MP wide-angle lens with 123-degree field-of-view, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The special Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition features a similar setup but with 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 30x zoom support instead of the 5MP macro sensor.
The cameras have Xiaomi’s AI, EIS, and 8K video recording. Upfront, Redmi K30 Pro has a 20MP shooter inside the pop-up camera.
Battery, Fast Charging
Finally, coming to the battery, Redmi K30 Pro and the Zoom Edition house a 4,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The device will ship with the 33W fast charger in the box.
The device can easily run for more than a day on a single charge.
Pricing, Launch: Poco F2 Price, Poco F2 Launch
Redmi K30 Pro price starts at RMB 2,999 (around Rs 32,500) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage is priced at RMB 3,399 (around Rs 36,600) and finally the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB variant is priced at RMB 3,699 (around Rs 40,000).
Xiaomi India may choose to go with a special 4G model of Redmi K30 Pro in India as it did with Poco X2 (rebranded Redmi K30), which may let Redmi K30 Pro India price start at under Rs 30,000 in India.
Poco F2 launch may happen in May or after that as a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. The Poco F2 price is expected to start under Rs 30,000.
Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition price starts at RMB 3,799 (around Rs 41,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top-end 8GB RAM model with 256GB variant is priced at RMB 3,999 (around Rs 43,000). Redmi K30 Pro comes in: Sky Blue, Moonlight White, Starry Purple and Space Grey colour options.
